Flickr-free Animation

Playing with Flickr has been, as with most technologies, initially exciting and now a teeny bit disappointing. The simplicity of the system makes it extremely easy to use and understand, but there are those hidden loopholes to advanced functionality that are difficult to find. Clever back-end processing can often result in destruction of the front-door intentions of the crafty creative person. I thought that I could post an animated-GIF file on Flickr, but the back-end processing neutered the data into some horrible dithered mess. Maybe if I pay to upgrade to Flickr-Pro this problem will go away? Well, it really isn't a problem.

A bigger problem is the snow in Boston today. Traffic is heavily backed up on local streets. I am currently looking at drawing many transitions of many computer graphic forms simultaneously as a kind of ode to the snow. Snow in my head is more like blobs than crystalline structures. And like Flickr, snow really isn't a problem either. It's great stuff to think about. [View Odd Snippet]
