In the same peace-loving spirit of snowflake-a-thon, today the MIT Bubble Machine Team revealed their working design for a massive bubble-generator powered by one of the large open HVAC outlets on MIT's campus. Bubble Machine I is currently stationed right at the epicenter of campus—generating tons of bubbles to greet returning students to their first day of classes.
Reactions to Bubble Machine I have ranged from pleasant smiles to loud guffaws. I have captured the might of the bubble machine in this little mpeg. Bubble machines are certain to outpace crop circles as the new techie fad of the 21st century.
